Marine window film
Film keeps much of the sun’s infrared heat out of the cabin, so it stays more comfortable on long, sunny days on the water.
Bright water and low sun are easier on the eyes behind tinted glass, at the helm and down in the cabin.
Film blocks most UV, so seats, cushions and wood trim fade less in the strong sun on the water.
A darker film keeps the cabin private when you’re moored, while you still see out clearly from inside.
How it works
We come to your boat, look at each window and check what it’s made of. Glass takes film well; some acrylic windows need a film made for them, and we’ll tell you which.
The film is cut to each window and fitted from the inside, so it stays out of the salt and spray, and the outside of the glass is washed down just as it always is.
You choose how dark it goes. A lighter film keeps the view from the helm and the cabin bright; a darker one adds privacy when you’re moored.
Inside the cabin, the film is cleaned like any other window: a soft cloth and a cleaner without ammonia. We go through the care with you before we leave the boat.
