Business window film

Why tint your business windows in San Diego?

More comfortable rooms

Film keeps sun-facing offices cooler and more even through the day, so the desks by the window are easier to work at.

Less glare

Screens are easier to read at desks by the window, without closing the blinds on a bright day.

Privacy

Reflective and white privacy films for meeting rooms and street-level offices, so the work inside stays out of view.

Stock kept from fading

UV is blocked, so goods in the window, furniture and floors keep their color for longer.

How it works

How commercial window tinting works

We visit, look at the glass and how each room is used, then quote. We plan the work with you, so you know when each room will be done.

Union’s films for businesses come in Neutral, Silver, Ceramic, White Out and Black Out — from clear-looking heat control to full privacy in white or black.

On the day we clean each pane, fit the film from the inside and trim it neatly to the edges, then go over every window with you before we leave.

Union window film

Which window film is right for you?

Union makes five films for homes and businesses. They differ in how the glass looks, how much heat and glare they stop, and how much they let people see in.

  • Neutral

A clean, neutral finish for homes, offices and shop fronts that cuts glare and keeps rooms comfortable without making the glass feel heavy.

  • Silver

A mirror-like silver finish for the sunniest glass, with stronger heat control and privacy in the daytime.

  • Ceramic

A lighter, low-reflective film for heat and UV control when you want comfort without a mirrored look.

  • White Out

An opaque white film for full privacy on bathrooms, offices, meeting rooms and partitions, with a clean, bright finish.

  • Black Out

An opaque black film that blocks the light and the view, for back rooms, storage and private spaces.

Questions

Commercial window tinting questions

Can you work around our opening hours?

Tell us your hours when you ask for a quote and we’ll plan the work with you.

Which film is best for an office?

Neutral and Ceramic films keep heat and glare down while the glass still looks clear. Silver reflects more for hot, sunny sides.

Can you make our meeting rooms private?

Yes. White Out is an opaque white film that covers the glass fully with a clean, bright finish. Black Out covers it in black and blocks the light as well.

Will film make the offices darker?

Neutral and Ceramic films keep heat and glare down while the rooms stay bright and the view stays clear. Silver reflects more sun and gives privacy by day.

Can people see in at night?

With reflective film, the office is private by day, but at night with the lights on inside people can see in. White Out and Black Out stay private day and night.

Can you tint glass doors and partitions?

Yes. Film goes on glass doors, office partitions and meeting room walls as well as windows, cut to each pane.

Will film help with glare on screens?

Yes. Film cuts glare so screens by the window are easier to read.

Does window film block UV?

Yes. It blocks most UV, which helps keep stock, furniture and flooring from fading.

How do we get a quote for a building?

Ask for a free quote with a few photos and the rough sizes, and we’ll arrange a visit.

Do you tint shop fronts?

Yes. Film blocks most UV, which helps keep goods in the window from fading, and it cuts the heat and glare inside.

Do you come to our building?

Yes. We come to offices, shops and lobbies anywhere within about 30 miles of our San Diego shop.
