A cleaner look
A light smoke on the taillights matches tinted windows and dark trim.
Car tinting
Smoked film on your taillights and clear protection film on your headlights, fitted at our San Diego shop or at your door.

Headlights and taillights

A light smoke on the taillights matches tinted windows and dark trim.

Clear film helps stop stone chips and sun from yellowing your headlights.

It’s film, so it comes off cleanly and the lens stays as it was.

Each piece is cut to the shape of your lights for clean edges.
How it works
We fit a thin film over the lens — a light smoke for taillights, or a clear protection film for headlights. It’s never paint or spray, so it comes off without harming the lens.
California needs headlights to shine white and taillights to show red, clearly and brightly. So headlights get clear film, and taillights get a smoke light enough to stay bright.
Each piece is cut to the shape of your light and its edges are laid neatly around the lens. If you sell the car or change your mind, the film peels off and the lens is as it was.

Questions
Headlights must shine white light, so we fit clear protection film on headlights, not smoke. Ask us before choosing anything darker on any light.
Taillights must still show clearly red and bright, so we fit a light smoke that keeps them that way.
Film. It sits over the lens and comes off cleanly, so nothing is painted or sprayed on your lights.
Yes. Clear film helps stop stone chips and keeps the sun from yellowing the lens.
Yes. Many customers have their lights done on the same visit as their windows.
Give the film a few days to settle, then wash the lights as you would the paint, with a soft mitt. Keep pressure washers away from the edges of the film.
It depends on how many lights you have done and which film. We tell you how long when we quote, so you can plan your day around it.
